Community Guidelines

Profiles must be created with the genuine intention of finding a spouse. Using Sulabh Vivah to look for casual company, short-term arrangements, or any relationship other than marriage is not allowed, and such accounts are removed.

• Speak to other members, and about their families, with respect.
• If someone tells you they are not interested, or stops replying, that is their answer. Do not contact them again through another profile or another channel.
• No abuse, casteist or communal slurs, threats, or comments about a person's body or appearance.

Repeated unwanted contact, sexual or suggestive messages, obscene photographs, stalking, and sharing another member's photos, contact details or conversations without their permission are all prohibited. Accounts doing any of this are suspended immediately.

• Give your real name, date of birth, marital status, education and occupation. Hiding an existing marriage or a divorce in progress is a serious violation.
• Upload only photographs of the person the profile is for.
• One person, one profile. Do not create a profile for someone without their consent.
• Our team reviews every profile by hand before it appears in search, and checks the ID document submitted before the Verified badge is given.

Sulabh Vivah is not a marketplace. Do not use the platform to advertise a business, to promote another matrimonial or brokerage service, to collect profiles for resale, or to offer matchmaking for a fee of your own. Bulk messaging and scraping are prohibited.

No member, and no one claiming to be from our staff, should ever ask you for money, bank details, UPI transfers, gift cards or OTPs. Never send money to anyone you meet through this platform. Our fees are only ever paid to the business account shown on your own membership page after you choose a plan — never to an individual. Report any money request to us straight away.

Giving or taking dowry is a criminal offence in India under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Dowry demands, in a profile or in a conversation, are not permitted here.

• Your contact details stay private until you choose to share them.
• Involve your family, and meet first in a public place or at a family home.
• Verify independently what a member tells you about their job, income and family.

Every profile carries Report and Block options. Blocking stops all contact from that member at once. Reporting sends the profile to our moderation team for review. You can also write to us at support@sulabhvivah.com or call +91 7391007424. Complaints that are not resolved to your satisfaction can be escalated through our Grievance Redressal process.

Depending on what happened, we may warn the member, hide or delete the profile, suspend or permanently remove the account without refund, and report the matter to the police. We act on reports from members and on what our own moderation finds. Decisions on child safety, harassment and fraud are final.
